Yoga enhances overall health by developing balance, strength, and flexibility while reducing stress. Each class focuses on specific alignment principles throughout a carefully sequenced practice. During class, students release stress, refine alignment, and increase endurance in over fifty basic postures (asanas) and a variety of breathing techniques. We encourage students to listen to their body, respect its wisdom, and to progress at their own pace. Practicing yoga is a way of cultivating contentment – on and off the mat. There is not one 'form' of Yoga that we practice, but an overall relaxing experience to help reduce stress, calm down and re-energize is our goal.
